Tour Overview

A seven-day ziyarat and heritage journey along the Uzbek Silk Road, linking Tashkent, Bukhara and Samarkand. The route opens with the Khast-Imam complex in Tashkent, home to the Quran of Caliph Uthman, then dedicates three days to Bukhara — the shrines of Bahauddin Naqshband, Abd-ul-Khalik Gijduvani and the other Sufi masters of the region, alongside the Ark Fortress, Poi Kalon and the Lyabi-Hauz ensemble. The tour closes in Samarkand with Imam Al-Bukhari, the Amir Temur mausoleum, the Registan and Shah-i-Zinda before the return to Tashkent. Travel between the cities is by bus or train, with hotel nights and local restaurant meals throughout.

Day 1

  • Arrival to Tashkent
  • Meeting at the airport.
  • Transfer to hotel, check-in.

  • Start sightseeing in the capital of Uzbekistan, the biggest city in Central Asia. Visit part of the Old City of Tashkent with Khast-Imam Complex where the world famous Quran of the Caliph Uthman–Ottoman has been preserved. In Khast Imam visit Madrassah of Barak Khan, Tilya Sheikh Mosque, Mausoleum of the Saint Kaffal Sashi. Minor Mosque (White mosque)
  • Dinner at the local restaurant.
