Next, head to Gori to visit the Stalin Museum, dedicated to the Soviet leader who was born here. Finally, explore the ancient cave city of Uplistsikhe, one of the oldest settlements in Georgia.

Day 3

Visit the underground city of Vardzia, founded in the 12th century by Queen Tamara. Explore its tunnels, alleys, and staircases, and admire the frescoes in the cave monastery.

Continue to the Rabat Fortress, the largest fortress in Georgia, with its palace, towers, and labyrinth garden. End your day in the resort town of Borjomi, famous for its mineral springs.

Day 4

Begin your day in the village of Manavi, where you’ll taste traditional Georgian wine, chacha, and snacks. Continue to Badiauri to see how traditional bread is made and taste local cheeses.

Visit the city of Signagi, known as the “City of Love,” and admire the views of the Alazani Valley. Stop at the Bodbe Monastery, famous for its connection to Saint Nino, and visit the holy spring of St. Nino. Enjoy a wine tasting at a local cellar.

Travel along the Georgian Military Road to Kazbegi, a highland region of Georgia. Stop at the Zhinvali Reservoir and the Ananuri Fortress. In Pasanauri, see the black and white Aragvi rivers flow side by side and taste local honey and chacha.

Drive past the Gudauri ski center and admire the mountain views. Visit the Monument of Friendship and see the turquoise lake. Stop at a travertine mountain to taste mineral water.
