Hotel Pick-up in Tbilis
At 09:00, your professional guide will meet you at your hotel in Tbilisi holding a name board. After a short introduction, you will depart for the Shida Kartli wine region.
Drive along the West Highway to the village of Chardakhi and visit Kolkhis Ezo Winery, a charming family-run wine cellar.
The owners moved from the Samegrelo region of western Georgia and combined the traditions of western and eastern Georgian winemaking. During the visit you will taste three different artisan wines, including white and red varieties.
Continue to Chateau Mukhrani, one of the most famous wine estates in Georgia. Founded in the 19th century by the Bagrationi royal family, this estate includes a historic castle, vineyards, winery, and beautiful park.
Enjoy a guided tour of the estate where you will learn about royal Georgian wine history and modern wine production. The visit concludes with a wine tasting session in the cellar.
Next stop is Sevsamora Winery located in the village of Saguramo. This winery is known for its bio-organic vineyards and sustainable wine production.
The tour begins in the vineyards, where more than 50 grape varieties are cultivated. Continue to the wine museum and traditional Marani (wine cellar) where you will learn about the ancient Qvevri fermentation process.
Enjoy tasting premium Qvevri wines while discovering the unique aromas of Georgia’s endemic grape varieties.
After the final tasting, drive back to Tbilisi and drop off at your hotel.
