Your journey begins early in the morning as the Jossec Safaris team picks you up from your Nairobi hotel at 7:00 AM. After a scenic drive through Kenya’s central highlands, you’ll arrive at Ol Pejeta Conservancy by midday. Upon entry, enjoy your first game drive as you explore this wildlife haven, home to the Big Five—lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo. You’ll also learn about its renowned rhino sanctuary, which protects critically endangered species, and spot other animals like giraffes, zebras, and gazelles. After the drive, check in at your lodge, where you’ll relax, unwind, and enjoy a hearty dinner under the starry African skies.
Accommodation: Sweetwaters Serena Camp (or a similar mid-range option).
Start your day with an early morning game drive to catch wildlife at their most active. Your guide will help you explore different sections of the conservancy, maximizing your chances of spotting elusive predators like leopards and cheetahs. Optional activities such as a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary are available at an extra cost. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out and heading back to Nairobi. The Jossec Safaris team will ensure you’re dropped off at your hotel or another agreed location, marking the end of your adventure.
