Itinerary

Day 1

Eminonu:

Your journey begins in Eminonu, where we board a local ferry to Kadikoy on the Asian side of Istanbul. Ferries are a favorite mode of transportation for locals, offering the perfect chance to relax, take in the fresh sea air, and admire the magnificent skyline of the Old City with its world-famous landmarks – the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia Museum, and Topkapi Palace.

Kadikoy:

Known as one of the liveliest neighborhoods in Istanbul after Istiklal Street in Taksim, Kadikoy is a must-visit for its vibrant atmosphere. Explore charming cafés, traditional restaurants, fresh fish and fruit markets, boutique shops, and antique stores. Don’t miss the elegant 1920s Sureyya Opera House on Bahariye Avenue, one of Istanbul’s most modern shopping streets. While strolling through these colorful lanes, you’ll also discover Armenian and Greek churches. We’ll then head to Moda, a peaceful seaside district, for a relaxing break and a taste of homemade Turkish ice cream.

Uskudar:

Our next stop is Uskudar, a more traditional and conservative neighborhood that reflects the spiritual side of Istanbul. Here, you will visit historical Ottoman mosques, including the stunning Mihrimah Sultan Mosque, built for the daughter of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. The local market, located in the heart of Uskudar Square, is filled with stalls selling fresh fish, seasonal fruits, vegetables, dried fruits, nuts, Turkish Delight, and more.

Kuzguncuk:

From Uskudar, we enjoy a scenic walk along the shoreline to the multiethnic fishing village of Kuzguncuk. This charming district is off the typical tourist path and is known for its rich multicultural history, once home to Greek, Jewish, and Armenian communities. The walk passes through seaside parks where locals fish, picnic, and enjoy the sea breeze.

Return to European Side:

We take the local ferry back to the European side, marking the end of your Private Full-Day Asian Side Tour. We hope your tour was a memorable one and thank you for choosing TravelShop Booking. We look forward to seeing you again on another TravelShop Booking tour. Have a safe trip back home!
