Doing an overnight hike is the most effective way to experience the nature wonders of lovely knuckles mountain range through the Riverston area which is the most beautiful hilltop in the range. The place boasts spectacular view of the highlands around it. The misty peak of Riverston, ends in a sharp 300 m drop from which you can see the surrounding countryside including Thelgamuwa Valley with its terraced fields and the Knuckles range of mountains.

05:30You will be picked up from your hotel in Kandy, Dambulla, Sigiriya or Habarana and driven to Matale.
06:30Reach Matale town and drive to programme starting point.
08:00Your guide will explain the details of the hike before starting the hike.
08:10Start the hike with an experienced hiking guide, first aid officer and a backup emergency transport vehicle. Walk 1.5km to Riverston summit.
09:30Get in to vehicle and travel 5km and then walk 3.5km to mini world’s end.
11:30You will be driven by the vehicle to a waterfall where you will have your lunch.
13:00You will start 3km Trekking to clock rock.
16:30You will be driven to Green View Holiday Resort for the overnight stay.
17:30Enjoy the evening Tea at the hotel.
20:30BBQ dinner in the hotel
07:30Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
08:30Leave the hotel and drive 7km by the vehicle.
10:00Trek through the jungle to Sera Ella waterfalls and enjoy sitting on the rock seats under the spray. The trek is 7km.
12:00Return to your hotel by the vehicle and enjoy lunch.
13:30Check out from the hotel and drive 12km to enjoy some water activities.
18:30You will return to your overnight hotel. (Pick up from Sigiriya, Dambulla, Habarana and drop off in Kandy or wise versa is possible)
