Itinerary

Day 1

Meet at the Adana Airport and transfer to your hotel. You will be given your room key and the rest of the day is yours to explore Mersin. Overnight in Mersin

Day 2

(Breakfast and Lunch included)

Today, we will take a City Tour of Mersin, visiting several historical sites such as the Gozlukule Mound, the first settlement of Tarsus, and various lodging and dwelling points from the past. We'll also visit Tarsus Ulu Camii (Tarsus Grand Mosque), the St. Paul Church Museum, and the Tarsus Roman Ancient Road. Along the way, we'll stop for tea at the Tarsus Waterfall and get a closer look at some of Tarsus's historic homes, including some that Paul's Well helped restore. As we tour the city, you will get a chance to experience the friendliness and hospitality of the locals. Next, we will visit Kanlidivane (Kantelis) Ancient City, known for its red soil and a legend of criminals being thrown into a sinkhole during Roman times. We will have the opportunity to sample some of Mersin's delectable food, including the regional speciality Tantuni, at lunch. Overnight in Mersin.

Day 3

Pick up from your hotel. First depart to the ruins of the ancient Greek city of Soli, which was renamed by Roman General Pompey as Pompeipolis is within Mezitli. Soli was the dominion of Rhodes, Persian Empire (Achaemenids), Macedonian Empire, Seleucid Empire, Roman Empire and its successor Byzantine Empire. After visiting, Kizkalesi is an important settlement area under the control of Selevkos, Romans, Byzantines, Seljuks, Armenians, French (Kingdom of Cyprus), Karamanli and Ottomans in history. Then we will visit to Cennet – Cehennem (Heaven – hell) Caves, They are natural caves, very deep caves that attract historical and touristic interest. It is called Heaven Column and Hell Pit. return to hotel. Overnight in Mersin.

Day 4
