Solo travelers are not eligible for twin-share pricing unless traveling with a confirmed roommate.

A booking with only one traveler will operate only as a Private Solo Tour, priced at 1.5× the published twin-share rate.

We do not match or assign roommates under any circumstances.

If no roommate is confirmed 60 days before departure, a Single Room Supplement of USD ???? will be charged.

Itinerary

Day 1

Upon arrival at Leon Mba International Airport, you will be met and greeted by a guide and transferred by vehicle to your hotel. Tour orientation. Meals included: None

Overnight at Tropicana Hotel

Day 2

After breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to the airport for your domestic flight to Port-Gentil. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Loango National Park. On arrival, meet the Loango team and continue your transfer to the camp (approximately 2 hours). Arrival and check-in at Loango Camp Ndola. Begin your activities with an afternoon game drive in the park, searching for forest elephants and buffalo along the wild beaches. Ndola Camp: This is the new "main base" replacing the older Loango Lodge; it is better positioned for beach access and is regularly visited by hippos.

Day 3

In the morning, drive to the Max Planck Gorilla Habituation and Research Project (approximately 45+ minutes). Track a family of 18 western lowland gorillas with Pygmy trackers. In the afternoon, enjoy a safari in the savannah to see elephants, buffalo, or hippos along the beach.

Overnight at Ndola Camp

Day 4

Enjoy a final morning activity, such as birdwatching or a short forest walk. After an early lunch, depart Loango around 1:00 PM for your transfer back to Port-Gentil. Catch your afternoon/evening flight from Port-Gentil to Libreville. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel, such as the Park Inn Hotel, for your overnight stay.

Day 5

After breakfast, enjoy leisure time or visit the National Museum of Arts and Traditions (which showcases over 2,500 traditional objects, masks, and musical instruments), the striking Saint-Michel Church of Nkembo (famous for its beautifully carved wooden pillars and biblical scenes), and the bustling Mont Bouet Market or a local craft market for souvenir shopping. You will be transferred to the airport at least 3 hours before your international flight departure.
