7:00 AM – Depart from Arusha

• Early morning drive toward Tarangire National Park.
• Stop for a quick coffee/snack along the way (optional).

9:00 AM – Arrive at Tarangire & Start Game Drive

• Begin exploring Tarangire’s savannas, swamps, and riverbanks.

Wildlife highlights:

• Largest elephant herds in Tanzania
• Lions, leopards, and cheetahs
• Giraffes, zebras, wildebeests & buffaloes
• Baobab trees(some over 1,000 years old!)
• Birdwatching – over 500 species

12:30 PM – Picnic Lunch in the Park

• Enjoy lunch at a scenic picnic site overlooking the Tarangire River (where animals often gather to drink).

1:30 PM – Afternoon Game Drive

• Drive deeper into the park for more wildlife encounters.
• Visit Silale Swamp, a great place to see predators stalking prey.

4:00 PM – Depart for Arusha

• Begin the return drive after an amazing day of wildlife spotting.

6:30 – 7:00 PM: Arrive back in Arusha.
