Today the ruins are a popular tourist stop for both their stunning preserved ruins, fantastic view but they also hold the mystery of what happened to the city. Many theories tell of different people destroying it with some saying it was a natural disaster, however, there is no record of what happened. All we have today is the stories left behind by those who built this fantastic city. The afternoon you will head to the famous Patara Beach, here you can relax in the beautiful Turkish weather or swim on the crystal-clear water of the Aegean Sea.
