Itinerary

Day 1

Meet your tour guide at your hotel lobby in the morning and transfer to İzmir Airport (approximately 45 minutes). Upon arrival at Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gökçen Airport, you will be transferred to the Sultanahmet Area to begin your city tour.

Your first visit will be Topkapi Palace, the magnificent residence of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries. The palace houses an exceptional collection of crystal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, imperial robes, priceless jewels of the Imperial Treasury, Ottoman miniatures, and the Holy Relics, including sacred items of the Prophet Mohammed.

Continue to the Sultanahmet Imperial Mosque (Blue Mosque), built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet. Located opposite Hagia Sophia, the mosque is famous for its breathtaking interior decorated with blue İznik tiles.

Next, explore the Ancient Hippodrome, once the center of chariot races and public life, and see its historic monuments: the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Serpentine Column, and the Column of Constantine.

After a lunch break, visit the vibrant Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar), known for its lively atmosphere and excellent shopping opportunities. Browse a wide variety of exotic spices and herbs, Turkish baklava, Turkish delight, Turkish coffee, dried fruits, nuts, and unique souvenirs such as ceramic handicrafts, evil eye talismans, natural olive oil soaps, and more.

At the end of the tour, transfer to Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gökçen Airport for your return flight. Upon arrival in Izmir Airport , our staff will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Kusadasi

Please Note:

  • Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays. On this day, Hagia Sophia will be visited instead.
