After breakfast, we depart the hotel to the Gare Maritime Port where we go on a 20 minutes sail on a ferry to Goree Island. The tour includes a visit infamous slave house, the ethnographic museum and a briefing by the curator on the history of the Goree, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through the narrow streets to explore this historical island. In the afternoon, we cruise back to Dakar and go on a short city tour including the Renaissance Monument and the Museum of Black civilization. We return to the hotel. This evening dinner in a local restaurant for a taste of authentic Senegalese cuisine.

After a well deserved breakfast, check out and depart to Bandia game reserve. WE stop to visit Pink Lake, a rare natural phenomenon caused by a unique combination of microorganism and high concentration of salts which gives the lake its unique pink color. Interact with the salt harvesters. Get on quad bikes and enjoy adventures in the sand dunes. After lunch we continue to Bandia National Park, an ecological jewel not far from Dakar. Bandia Game Reserve is located in a 3500-hectare wide conservation area.

Embark on an unforgettable safari where you will encounter numerous native animal species of Senegal. Look out for buffalos, antelopes, impala gazelles, monkeys, tortoises, and crocodiles. Additionally, you may spot white rhinoceros, kudu, elands, cape moose, giraffes, ostriches, and zebras. Stop by the crocodile pool, where animals gather to drink and buffalos wallow in the mud. Keep an eye out for various bird species including small hornbills, grey herons, eagles, blackbirds, and kingfishers during your adventure. Continue to Saly for overnight.
