Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, where you’ll be warmly greeted by the Jossec Safaris team. From here, you’ll drive north to the Samburu National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. After settling in, embark on an afternoon game drive. Samburu is home to unique northern species like the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, and the gerenuk, along with other wildlife such as lions, elephants, and cheetahs. Enjoy a delicious dinner at your lodge before retiring for the night.

After breakfast, drive to the lush Aberdare Ranges, home to dense forests and diverse wildlife. Upon arrival at The Ark Hotel, enjoy lunch before taking in the views from the lodge's famous viewing decks, where you can spot elephants, buffaloes, and other animals as they come to the waterhole. The Ark provides a unique opportunity for game viewing, even at night, from the comfort of your lodge.

After breakfast, continue your journey south to Lake Nakuru National Park. Known for its spectacular birdlife, especially flamingos, and its diverse mammal population, including rhinos, lions, and leopards, Lake Nakuru promises exciting game drives. After lunch at your lodge, enjoy an afternoon exploration of the park. The picturesque landscapes and abundant wildlife make this a perfect stop on your safari.

Depart after breakfast for a scenic drive to the famous Masai Mara. Arriving in time for lunch, you’ll settle into your comfortable camp before heading out on an afternoon game drive. The Mara is home to the Big Five—lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo—as well as cheetahs, giraffes, and more. If you’re visiting during the migration season (July to October), you may even witness the dramatic river crossings.

Spend the entire day exploring the expansive Masai Mara. Start with an early morning game drive to witness the animals at their most active. Your guide will take you on thrilling drives to spot predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. After a hearty breakfast, enjoy more game viewing throughout the day, with time for a delicious lunch back at the camp. If you’d like, you can opt for a hot air balloon safari (at an additional cost of $450), offering breathtaking aerial views of the Mara.

On your final day, enjoy a relaxed breakfast before packing your belongings and preparing for your journey back to Nairobi.
