Today you will explore Egypt’s main highlight – the Great Pyramid of Giza. For over 3,800 years Khufu’s Pyramid was considered the tallest manmade structure in the world. Our expert guide will give a talk about the Pyramids and the Sphinx, Lunch will be served at a local restaurant and today you will visit the Egyptian Museum with its 150,000 artifacts that tell you the history of 5,000 years of ancient civilization.

This morning your guide will pick you up from your hotel and escort you to the Citadel of Saladin on the Mokattam Hill and fortified in order to protect it from the Crusaders. Within the walls of the citadel is the Alabaster Mosque known as the Mosque of Mohammed Ali. The colorful Khan El Khalili Souk will be your next stop. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before heading to Coptic Cairo. Your guide will escort you to El Muallaqa, the Hanging Church, built into the walls of the Roman fortress of Babylon. You will then proceed to 19-century Ben Ezra Synagogue, Saint Barbara Church and Abu Serga Church. After the excursion you will be taken back to your hotel.
