Then back to Amman, visiting sites and museums including the Archeological Museum, the Folklore Museum, The citadel, and the Amphitheatre. Everywhere you look there is evidence of the city’s much older past.

Dinner and overnight in Amman

Day 3

After breakfast, we will have a chance to visit Jordan’s green north. Your first stop will be Jerash. The archaeological site is regarded as one of the most important and best-preserved Roman cities in the Middle East.

After Jerash, continue to Ajloun. Already from kilometers away, you can spot the castle, dominating the town’s skyline. Once built to ward off the Crusader armies at the key trade and pilgrimage intersection between Jerusalem, Cairo, Damascus and Mecca, it didn’t lose anything of it’s mighty presence until today.

Back to Amman.

Dinner and overnight in Amman

Day 4

After breakfast, drive to Madaba, a small, Christian city south of Amman.

Discover beautiful Byzantine mosaics spread on different locations throughout the town. Especially the ‘Madaba Map’, the oldest preserved map of the Middle East, is totally worth the visit!

Then drive on to Mt Nebo. From the site you have wonderful view over the Dead Sea and the mountains of the Judean desert. It is not difficult to imagine how Moses looked across to the Promised Land from the same spot, knowing he would never reach it.

Continue south to the ancient crusader castle in Karak, exploring the maze of stone-vaulted halls and passageways.

The city of Karak was the capital of Moab and the castle dominates the skyline.

The castle provides an impressive insight into the architectural and military skills of the Crusaders. Arrive to your hotel in Petra for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

After breakfast, visit the ancient Nabatean city of Petra. Did you know that Petra is one of the New7Wonders of the Modern World?

From visitor center, make your way through the Siq, a narrow, high walled, red sandstone canyon, towards the famous Treasury. Take some time to marvel at the magnificent building, which has been carved in stone thousands of years ago.

Then set out to explore the rest of the Rose-Red City with its many caves and tombs, a roman

theater, palaces, and many other structures. If you enjoy walking, you can also hike all the way

up to the High Place of Sacrifice, or even to the Monastery.

Back to your hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 6

After breakfast, drive to Siq el-Barid (Little Petra) located close to the main site.

The visitor can walk through 8,000-year-old excavated Stone Age village sat Beidah this is Petra in miniature with a modest gorge but wonderful rock-cut temples, caves and multi-colored rock faces and, being less-visited, it has an atmosphere all of its own.

Then drive to Wadi Rum and marvel at the sunset and gaze at the stars in the night sky whilst enjoying the legendary hospitality of the Bedouin, before sleeping at the foot of the awesome mountains exploding out from the desert landscape. Jeep Safari 02 Hours.

Dinner and overnight in Wadi Rum.

Day 7

After breakfast, drive to Dead Sea the lowest point on earth; The Dead Sea. Spend the day floating and relaxing at the Dead Sea at one of the resort hotels.
