A decorated ferry for the romantic dinner

Itinerary

Day 1

On arrival at the Bandaranaike International airport, you will be warmly greeted by your very own chauffeur guide and transferred to Negombo. (Approx. 30 min. drive). On arrival in the hotel, spend the day at leisure relaxing and enjoying the hotel facilities.

Evening, you will be driven to a nearby river to enjoy romantic private cruise dinner. You will arrive and board a beautifully decorated ferry to embark on your romantic dinner. The ferry is lit with natural lanterns as you glide around 300-500 meters at a low speed along the scenic river. Surrounded by mangrove vegetation, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere as you are served by a personal butler, a chef and a ferryman. You can select any of the three specially designed 4-course dinner menus with a choice of seafood, meat or Sri Lankan/Eastern specialties. A bottle of sparkling wine is served to complement your dinner and tea and coffee will be served at the end of the meal.

Spend overnight at a 3* Hotel. Your stay is on Half Board basis.

Day 3

Wake up early in the morning and experience the sunshine over the mountains whilst discovering the wonder of nature surrounded by the hotel. After breakfast, your guide will take you through another memorable walking trail to a waterfall in the property premises. Tranquil dip in this natural rock pool. No harsh chemicals, just you, pure mountain water and natural stone. This is a marvelous creation of nature! (Involves a somewhat adventurous, challenging short climb walks) Spend rest of the day enjoying the chalet facilities. You can go to the birds Nest setup on the tree with your loved ones and witness the breath-taking views around and have a chat. Late evening you can engage in star glazing with a high powered Telescope. This event you can convert into a challenging game with your partner to witness and identify the star patterns in the sky. Spend overnight at a 4* Hotel. Your stay is on Half Board basis.

Day 4

After breakfast, you will be taken to Ella (approx. 2 hours drive).

Explore the three most famous and iconic attractions in Ella on this private guided tour. During your day, you will get the experience of Ella gap form the top of both Ella rock and Little Adams peak & visit 9 Arch Bridge, one of the iconic bridges in Sri Lanka. Ella is a famous mountain village & a paradise of hills with stunning views. The view of Ella gap is the main attraction which can be best witnessed from the top of Ella Rock or Little Adams peak. This easygoing walk through tea plantations to temples, waterfalls and viewpoints will tell you all about the natural beauty of Ella.

Spend overnight at a 3* Hotel. Your stay is on Half Board basis.

Day 7

After breakfast, you will be driven to Kandy. (Approx. 2 hrs and 30 min. drive). On your way, you will see acres & acres of greenery, tea plantations all around. Step in to a tea factory and experience the glimpse of Ceylon tea making process and taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a city tour in Kandy. To the Buddhists of Sri Lanka and the World, Kandy is one of the most sacred sites as it is the home of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. The Bahirawakanda Buddha stature that is known as big Buddha is one of the most scenic places in the city. The Kandy Lake that was built by king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1807 is one of the major highlights in the city. The upper lake drive is more scenic and memorable. Today Kandy is the center of Buddhism, Arts, Crafts, Dancing, Music and Culture. Visiting gem lapidary, art and craft center along with a traditional cultural show will complete the city tour in this small historical town.

Spend overnight at a 3* Hotel. Your stay is on Half Board basis.

Day 8

After breakfast, you will be driven to Airport for your flight back home (approx. 3 hours drive).
