Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Trabzon! Upon your arrival at Trabzon Airport, you will be greeted by a TravelShopBooking representative holding a sign bearing your name. After a warm welcome, you will be assisted with your luggage and transferred comfortably to your hotel in Trabzon.

Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure to relax or explore the surroundings. Overnight stay in Trabzon.

Day 2

After breakfast at the hotel, depart from Trabzon in a private vehicle towards the lush green region of Rize, famous for its scenic tea plantations and panoramic landscapes. We will visit a local botanical tea garden where you can enjoy sweeping views while sipping freshly brewed Turkish tea.

Next, we continue to the breathtaking Ayder Plateau – one of the most beautiful highlands in the Eastern Black Sea region. On the way, we will stop at the Fırtına Valley (Valley of the Storm), where you will have the chance to experience an unforgettable whitewater rafting adventure in the rushing waters of the Fırtına River.

You’ll also witness the unique manual cable car, traditionally used by locals to cross the river – a fascinating highlight of rural engineering.

After a day immersed in nature and adrenaline, return to Trabzon for an evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Trabzon.

Day 3

After breakfast at the hotel, depart from Trabzon in a private vehicle for a full-day tour to the iconic Uzungöl Lake, one of the most picturesque destinations in the Black Sea region.

On the way, enjoy a stop at a local Turkish delight and sweets shop, where you can sample and purchase traditional treats. We will also visit a tea factory, offering insight into the region’s world-famous tea production, followed by a visit to a charming horse farm, perfect for a short stroll and memorable photos.

Continue the journey to Uzungöl Lake, nestled between lush green mountains and surrounded by dense pine forests. Enjoy your time walking along the lakeshore, taking in the stunning scenery and crisp mountain air.

Discover the Uzungöl Waterfalls, a serene spot ideal for relaxing and connecting with nature. Before heading back, we will stop at the Hapsiach Wooden Historic Bridge (Hapsiyaş Köprüsü) – a symbol of traditional Black Sea architecture.

Day 4

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for a scenic full-day tour to explore the natural and cultural treasures of the Maçka region and the Zigana Mountains.

Our first stop is Altındere National Park, a lush forested valley home to the majestic Sumela Monastery. Perched dramatically on a steep cliff face, this 4th-century monastery is one of Turkey’s most iconic landmarks. Enjoy a guided visit through its historic chapel, kitchen, and living quarters while learning about its Byzantine heritage.

We then continue our journey to the Zigana Pass, a high mountain crossing along the ancient Silk Road. Here, you can admire breathtaking panoramic views from the Zigana Terrace, a perfect spot for memorable photos and fresh mountain air.

Our final stop is the charming Hamsiköy (Hamsi Village), famous for its rich natural surroundings and delicious rice pudding (sütlaç). Enjoy the peaceful ambiance and sample the village’s traditional flavors before returning to Trabzon. Overnight stay in Trabzon.

Day 5

After breakfast at your hotel, set off for a refreshing day in nature with a private guided tour to the stunning Hıdırnebi Plateau, one of the most beloved highland retreats in the Trabzon region.

Surrounded by rolling green hills and crisp mountain air, Hıdırnebi Plateau offers breathtaking views and a serene escape from the city. Enjoy a leisurely walk through the plateau and visit the peaceful Hıdırnebi Lake, a tranquil spot ideal for nature photography and relaxation.

Later, we continue to Çal Cave, one of the longest caves in the world. Explore the impressive rock formations and underground stream as you wander through this fascinating natural wonder.

Day 6

After breakfast at the hotel, set out for a full-day private city tour to uncover the cultural gems and natural beauty of Trabzon, a historic jewel of the Black Sea.

Your first stop will be the Hagia Sophia Mosque of Trabzon, a magnificent example of Byzantine architecture beautifully restored and offering scenic coastal views.

Continue to the elegant Atatürk Mansion (Trabzon Atatürk Köşkü), nestled among pine trees. This charming early 20th-century villa, once visited by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, offers a fascinating look at local history and architecture.

Next, enjoy a peaceful stroll through the Trabzon Botanical Garden, where you can admire a rich variety of regional flora in a relaxing green space.

We’ll then visit Sera Lake, a picturesque freshwater lake surrounded by lush hills. You can enjoy optional pedal boating or simply take in the serene atmosphere.

Before ending the tour, head up to Boztepe Hill to relax at a traditional tea garden (Boztepe Çay Bahçesi) and sip Turkish tea while enjoying one of the best panoramic views of the city.

If time allows, we’ll stop by one of Trabzon’s popular shopping malls, where you can browse local and international brands or pick up last-minute souvenirs. Return to your hotel in Trabzon. Overnight stay in Trabzon.

Today is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Take this opportunity to explore Trabzon on your own—stroll through local markets, indulge in some shopping, or simply unwind at a cozy café overlooking the Black Sea. Whether you're searching for handcrafted souvenirs, savoring regional delicacies, or enjoying a scenic walk along the coast, Trabzon has something for everyone.
