Today marks the beginning of your incredible journey in Uruguay! Upon arrival, a driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, you’ll embark on a guided tour of Montevideo, where you'll explore some of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Your first stop will be Plaza Independencia, home to the historic Puerta de la Ciudadela, the majestic Solis Theater, the Executive Tower, Estévez Palace, the iconic Salvo Palace, and the monument to Uruguay’s national hero, José Gervasio Artigas.
Next, we’ll stroll along the vibrant 18 de Julio Avenue, which leads to the impressive Palacio Legislativo. From there, we’ll head to the Agricultural Market of Montevideo, a historic site that offers authentic local products.
The tour continues to José Batlle y Ordoñez Park, where you can enjoy views of the Centenario Stadium and the Monumento a la Carreta. We’ll then make our way to the scenic Rambla of Montevideo, passing through the charming Pocitos neighborhood, before reaching the iconic Montevideo sign, marking the end of the tour.
You will return to your hotel to relax. In the evening, immerse yourself in a true Uruguayan experience with a delicious dinner with a tango show.
After breakfast, we will take a scenic walk along the beaches of Montevideo and the Gold Coast, heading towards Punta Ballena, where Casa Pueblo is located. This unique museum and workshop, created by the renowned Uruguayan artist Carlos Páez Vilaró, offers stunning views (admission to the museum is not included). We will continue our journey through the breathtaking beaches of Punta del Este and its surrounding areas.
Our journey will take us along the tranquil Mansa Beach, through the elegant residential neighborhoods of Beverly Hill, El Golf, Cantegril, and San Rafael, where you’ll admire magnificent mansions and summer homes. We'll then pass by the famous waving bridges before returning through the picturesque Playa Brava to the port.
After lunch (not included), you'll have free time to enjoy shopping along Gorlero Avenue and the renowned Calle 20, known for its top boutiques and stores. In the afternoon, we'll make our way back to Montevideo.
The of your breakfast, your trip to Colonia del Sacramento will begin, a UNESCO World Heritage Site founded over 300 years ago by the Portuguese Empire. We’ll explore the charming Historic District with its cobblestone streets, take in the views along the Rambla Costanera, and visit the Real de San Carlos, home to the old Bullring. We’ll also see the Church of San Benito and stroll through the city’s picturesque residential neighborhoods. In the late afternoon, we’ll return to Montevideo.
Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, enjoy a half-day tour of the Pizzorno and Spinoglio Wineries. We will explore their beautiful vineyards, visit the winemaking facilities and cellars, and indulge in a wine tasting featuring some of their finest selections, paired with local delicacies. A delicious lunch will be served at one of the two wineries, allowing you to savor the best of the region's cuisine.
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you'll be transferred to the airport at the designated time for your departure.
