Itinerary

Day 1

Meet at the Adiyaman Airport. Transfer to Adiyaman City and check-in to the Hotel. Overnight in Adiyaman.

Day 2

(Breakfast included)

We will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning. We travel to Adıyaman - Kahta highway to Karakuş Hill, which is the first stop of our tour. The first stop of our tour is the Karakus Tumulus, a monumental tomb belonging to the Commagene Royal family, named after the eagle statue standing on the south column. We continue our tour with a short break in Karakuş Tumulus with the Cendere Bridge. Cendere Bridge; It was built by the Roman Emperor Septimius Severus in the narrowest part of the Kahta Stream and is still used today; however, it is closed to vehicle traffic. After the wonderful photos we took on the Cendere bridge, we are heading towards Old Kahta Castle and Devil's Bridge, now known as Yeni Kale. After the Old Kahta Castle, we continue our tour with Arsemia Ruins, which is the summer capital of Commagene Civilization. The city, located on the banks of the Kahta Stream, BC. It was founded in the beginning of the 3rd century by Arsames, the ancestor of Commagenians. After the trip to Arsemia Ruins, we continue our tour with the NEMRUT MOUNTAİN Ruins, which is the highest "Open Air Museum" in the world, with its magnificent sculptures that watch the sun rise and witness the sunset for thousands of years, and the meters with a length of 2,206 meters. We reach the east terrace and go to the west terrace with stone steps carved into the bedrock of Mount Nemrut Ruins, then we pass to the west terrace to watch the sunset. We watch the sunset and end our tour here. After the tour transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Adiyaman.

Day 3

(Breakfast and Lunch included)

After breakfast we will go to a local restaurant to get a cooking class by the chef of Restaurant. The guide will explain us also all the details about things. You will prepare the lunch with Chef and after the preparation you will have that lunch at the restaurant. In our food menu we will learn local dishes from Adiyaman Cuisine which inspire of Turkish cuisines. Of course some desserts and the salads will be in the menu. After the lunch we will return to hotel. Overnight in Adiyaman.

Day 4

(Breakfast included)

We will pick you up from your hotel and go to a Hamam (Turkish Bath). This Hamam culture dates back Roman empire ages. Today Turkish Bath have three sections as cold part, warm part and hot part like a Roman Bath. Also Turkish Baths have special staff for scrub (peeling) ritual. Female staff called as natır, male staff called as tellak in Turkish Language. We will get relax and chill. After this local relaxing ritual return to hotel. Overnight in Adiyaman.

Day 5

After breakfast, we are picked up from our hotel and set out to start our tour. In the Mesopotamian culture on the Silk Road, we reach our Harran district, which has the belief of Sin, the goddess of the moon, and which means crossing roads. The Harran mound, which is located at the height of 22 meters in the middle of Harran City, the mosque, whose dome was built by the Umayyad caliph Mervan, is wooden, the First Islamic Madrasah (Harran University), the Inner Castle, the Historical Walls in the courtyard. and we visit the houses with conical domes. Then, Turkey's largest irrigation project, the basalt material in the body of an old volcanic mountains in 1919 meters altitude we reach the outskirts of Montenegro brought the Ataturk Dam. through the observation terrace we can see the monument made for a relatively short time completed Turkey's medar boast that workers who lost their lives during the construction of the dam listening by our guide in one of these unique structures such as 8 years.
