You will be picked up at 08:30 am from your hotel and you can start to discover the city of Samsun. There are lots of sites to discover in the city, such as: Amisos Hill King Tombs (Ilkadım): In Samsun center, Ilkadim – Cedit district, during a road widening work, workers saw a hole and just after informing Museum researchers on Tuesday, November 28, 1995. Researchers started to work immediately and they found ruins of Ancient Amazon city. Researches showed that it is a big family grave room, there were 5 tombs, 3 of them used, 2 of them empty. Asarkale and Rock Tombs (Bafra): The castle is located in the southwestern part of Bafra province, 30 km away, is in the Kizilirmak basin and near the Altinkaya Dam. Asarkale, which goes back to the Hellenistic period was built up for defense aim. By the way, three carved into main stone cenotaphs supposed to belong to the same period. Twin-Hills, Ikiztepe (Bafra): Kizilirmak River basin has a 7000-year cultural heritage coming today since 5000 B.C. During this very long period, it has hosted various cultures located here. By an ongoing archeological excavation in the basin, Twin-Hills site, 57 mounds, 6 locations, 25 archaic ages and ruins, 48 tumuli, 5 sepulchers, 3 graveyards where the biggest one in Anatolia, 1 castle, 1 bath, and 1 bridge has been exhibited since 1974. Nerik Antique City: Nerik (Hittite: Nerikka) was a Bronze Age settlement to the north of the Hittite capitals Hattusa and Sapinuwa, probably in the Pontic region. The Hittites held it as sacred to a storm god, who was the son of Wurušemu, sun goddess of Arinna. The weather god is associated or identified with Mount Zaliyanu near Nerik, responsible for assigning rain to the city. Overnight in Samsun.

After breakfast, we will go to a local restaurant to get a cooking class by the chef of the restaurant. The guide will also explain all the details to us. You will prepare the lunch with Chef and after the preparation, you will eat that lunch at the restaurant. In our food menu, we will learn local dishes from Samsun Cuisine, which is inspired by Turkish cuisine. Of course, some desserts and salads will be on the menu. After lunch, we will return to the hotel. Overnight in Samsun.

We will pick you up from your hotel and go to Hamamı (Turkish Bath). This Hamam culture dates back to the Roman empire ages. Today the Turkish Bath has three sections as cold part, warm part, and hot part like a Roman Bath. Also, Turkish Baths have special staff for the scrub (peeling) ritual. Female staff called as natir, male staff called as tellak in the Turkish Language. We will get relax and chill. After this local relaxing ritual return to the hotel. Overnight in Samsun.
