Drive to Nuwara Eliya (approx. 5 hours drive). En route visit Devon & St. Claire's waterfalls.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a city tour of Nuwara Eliya. Surrounded by hills and tea plantations, the town of Nuwara Eliya is blessed with spring-like weather throughout the year. A favorite retreat of the British during colonial times, the town is dotted with English country style houses and half-timbered bungalows.

06:00 Make a pre-dawn start to Horton Plains National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a guided walk along the park's nature trails to a viewpoint known as World’s End. You may encounter a variety of wildlife including endemic Rhino-horned and Hump-nosed Lizards, highland bird species including the Sri Lanka White-eye, Dull-blue Flycatcher, Sri Lanka Bush Warbler, Yellow-eared Bulbul. You will continue your journey up to Baker's Falls, named after the famous explorer, Sir Samuel Baker.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Tea Plantation and Pedro Tea Factory to learn about tea production and its significance to the Sri Lankan economy. You will be able to engage with a tea plucking experience during this visit.

Today after breakfast, you will be driven to Kandy (approx. 3 hours drive).

In the afternoon, you will do the city tour of Kandy including a visit to the temple of the sacred tooth relic, upper lake drive, market square, gem lapidary and more.

You will be dropped off in Colombo city or at Bandaranaike International Colombo Airport (approx. 3 hours drive) to catch your flight.
