Today, we will visit Trabzon City's highlights, including the extraordinary collection of Byzantine frescoes in the 13th-century St. Sophia Church, Ataturk's Mansion on Soguksu Hill overlooking the Black Sea, the Girls' Monastery (Panagia Theoskepastos Monastery) on Boztepe Hill, and Sera Lake. On the way to Akcaabat, lunch will be served at a local restaurant. The region's well-known dish, Akcaabat meatballs, is on our menu. In the afternoon, we drive to Uzungol (meaning "Long Lake"). It's a hidden paradise in the Pontic Alps. We take a hike around the lake and village before checking into our wooden hotel. Overnight in Uzungol.

Today, we are leaving Uzungol after breakfast. We stop in Rize for a panoramic view of the city from the Botanic Garden, then continue to Firtina (Storm) Valley, which takes us to the Ayder Plateau. Before arriving in Ayder, we will see Camlihemsin, Konaklar, Senyuva Bridge, and Zilkale (a castle). Easy hiking to Goksu Fall, the highest and most beautiful in the region. We arrive in Ayder before sundown, and check into our wooden hotel. Overnight in Ayder.

After breakfast today, TSG will take you to explore that beautiful Alpine Plateau in Ayder until noon. Traditionally dressed village ladies, thermal springs, waterfalls dropping from hundreds of meters, and beautiful plateau houses are going to be of interest to you. In the afternoon, we drive to the Turkish-Georgian border on the eastern Black Sea coast after viewing Georgia from Sarpi Gate, then drive along the Black Sea coast back to Trabzon Airport for a homebound flight and say farewell.
