Belgrade lies at the confluence of the Sava and Danube and it is one of the oldest cities in Europe. The first settlements in the Belgrade area date from prehistoric Vinca 4800 BC. Belgrade itself was founded by the Celts in the third century BC, before it became a Roman settlement Singidunum. Slavic name “Belgrade” was first recorded in 878th. Belgrade is now a city of open hearts, friendly hosts, bohemian nights and crazy fun.

Upon arrival City tour (panoramic + by walk) with airport transfer. Tour begins with panoramic sightseeing and visit to main sites and squares of Belgrade, Belgrade City Hall, Serbian Parliament, the main pedestrian zone of Knez Mihailova Street, Belgrade University, National Theatre, National Museum, the oldest restaurant in Belgrade named "?", Orthodox Cathedral church. Tour continues to Kalemegdan Park and Belgrade Fortress with magnificent view on confluence of Sava to Danube River and Zemun Town, and much more. Overnight in Belgrade.
After breakfast, an hour and a half drive to Novi Sad. Upon arrival to Novi Sad a 45-minute sightseeing tour is in order. Tour will include visiting the Danube park, the Danube street (the oldest street of the city), the building of the Patriarchate, one of the oldest cultural institutions, Matica srpska, Zmaj Jova street, the Freedom square. After the sightseeing of Novi Sad, the road takes us to Sremski Karlovci, one of the places that are considered to be historically important for the development of the modern Serbia state. The visit to this picturesque town will include seeing the first Gymnasium in Serbia, Patriarchate building, as well as the “Chapel of Peace” (a place where the round table was used for the first time in the history of world diplomacy). Drive back to Belgrade and overnight.
After breakfast we depart to Manasija monastery from 15th century which is endowment of great despot Stefan. It is one of the most beautiful and important Serbian monasteries. It is fortified with 11 towers with walls between. Inside of monastery are valuable frescoes and icons from famous European artists of 15th century. Follows visit to Resava cave, 80 million years old which makes it one of the oldest in this region, with cave jewelry that dates 45 million years ago. It is also considered to be one of the most beautiful caves in Serbia. Then we proceed to Lisine waterfall where we will relax and have lunch (optional) by the waterfall. Trip back to Belgrade. Overnight in Belgrade.
