Pick up from your hotel and depart to centre of Balikesir. First stop will be Kuvayi Milliye (Nationalist Forces) Museum, building used as headquarters in the years of National Struggle. First floor you can see the decisions of the congress, personal belongings of these heroes, photographs and wax sculptures of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his wife Latife Hanım are on display. On the second floor of the museum, archaeological and ethnographic artifacts found in Balıkesir province are located. Then next stop will be Clock Tower which is built in 1901. After the guide gives you information we keep going to the Photography Museum. It’s the first Photography Museum in Turkey. Then you will have free time in the city centre; after the free time you will visit Zagnos Pasa Mosque also another name; Balikesir Grand Mosque. After the tour transfer back to your hotel in Balikesir.

After breakfast, we take our guests from the hotel and depart to a local restaurant for your professional cooking lesson. You participate in your first Turkish cooking lesson: Although Balikesir is a district rich in natural beauty, it is also famous for its cuisine. Dugun (wedding) Soup, Tirit which is made with chicken and Mantı (ravioli). Another important food is the Hosmerim dessert, also known as Hosmerim, which is made widely in the province of Balıkesir. After lunch you will depart to city center for free time and shopping before returning to your hotel. After the tour drop back to your hotel. Overnight in Balikesir.

After breakfast the day is yours till your departure transfer to Balikesir Airport. We will transfer you to Airport and you will fly back home.
